Privacy Policy

Launch Lab ("we", "us") runs joinlaunchlab.io, a free online course about building e-commerce brands with AI. This policy explains what we collect, why, and what you can do about it.

What we collect

• Account details: your name, email address and password (stored encrypted), or your Google account name and email if you sign in with Google.
• Course activity: lessons you open and finish, to-dos you tick, notes and saved products you create, and messages you send to our AI tools.
• Store details you give us: your Shopify store address, and product links you paste into the AI store builder.
• Usage data: pages visited, buttons clicked (for example partner links), a random visitor ID stored in a cookie, and basic technical data like browser type.
• Issue reports: anything you type into "Report an issue", plus the page you were on and technical error details.

How we use it

• To run your account and the course: save your progress, unlock lessons and tools, and build your store files.
• To send account emails such as password resets. We don't sell your email or send you spam.
• To understand which parts of the course help people and fix what's broken.
• To know when you click a partner link, so we can see what students sign up for.

Partners and affiliate links

Launch Lab is free because some links in the course are affiliate links (for example Shopify and Base44). When you sign up through them, the partner may pay us a commission at no cost to you. When you visit a partner, their own privacy policy applies. We don't share your Launch Lab account data with them.

Services we use

We use trusted providers to run Launch Lab, and they process data only to provide their service to us:

• Vercel (hosting) and Neon (database)
• Anthropic (the AI that powers our AI tools and store builder; what you type into these tools is sent to it)
• Apify (reads the public product pages you give the store builder)
• Resend (sends account emails), Google (if you choose Google sign-in), and Discord (if you join our community or report an issue)

Cookies

We use cookies to keep you logged in, remember your settings, and count visits with a random ID. We don't use advertising cookies on this site.

How long we keep it

We keep your data while your account is active. If you delete your account, we delete your personal data within 30 days, except where the law requires us to keep it.

Your rights

You can ask us to show you, correct, export or delete your data at any time by emailing support@joinlaunchlab.io. Depending on where you live (for example the EU, UK or California), you may have additional rights, and we'll honor them.

Children

Launch Lab is for people 18 and over. We don't knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.

Security

We use encrypted connections, hashed passwords and limited access to keep your data safe. No system is perfect, so please use a unique password.

Changes and contact
